The laboratory is young; its founder’s experience is not.
Ivan Timakov — researcher and data scientist; 8+ years across banking, media, and technology. Selected work: scaled a process-mining audit practice at one of Eastern Europe’s largest banks and trained 500+ employees in it; built an LLM-based headline-generation algorithm that lifted CTR by 12% in A/B testing; led an analytics stream and built staffing-optimisation models; migrated regulatory stress-testing models at a central bank. M.Sc. in Business Informatics.
Because the alchemists were the first to write everything down: the mixture, the fire, the failure. Modern R&D keeps the same discipline — hypothesis journals, experiment logs, honest records of what didn’t work. Solve et coagula: take the problem apart; assemble the solution. We merely returned the old words to their working meaning.
